Director of Government Affairs
Since March 2021, Priscilla Magee has served as a Director of Government Affairs for NEII. Prior to joining the NEII staff, Ms. Magee served as the Consumer Outreach Manager at the American National Standards Institute. In this role, she led outreach and engagement initiatives related to emerging areas of standardization, working closely with regulators, standards development organizations, public interest groups, trade associations, and Federal policy makers.
Previously, Ms. Magee worked in the construction industry as a design engineer and accessibility consultant, consulting on large-scale commercial and multi-family residential developments across the United States. As an ICC certified accessibility inspector, Ms. Magee served as a technical expert conducting plan reviews and inspections to assess for compliance with all applicable standards and providing technical assistance to clients and project teams throughout all stages of design and construction.

Ms. Magee has spoken and presented at the national conferences of the Society for Standards Professionals and the International Consumer Product Safety and Health Organization (ICPSHO). Ms. Magee is a member of Women in Standards and ICPSHO. She currently serves on the District of Columbia Pedestrian Advisory Council as an appointee of D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson, and is a member of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Volunteer Corp. Ms. Magee graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.
