government affairs spokesperson


Since March 2017 Dylan Isenberg has served as NEII’s Director of Government Affairs. In that role, Mr. Isenberg advocates for legislation, regulations and other policies that support the goals of NEII and its member companies. He acts as a spokesperson on industry issues before legislative and regulatory representatives and develops and manages lobbying strategies.

Before joining the NEII staff, Mr. Isenberg was the Manager of Advocacy at the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International. During his tenure at BOMA, Mr. Isenberg lobbied Congress on various issues impacting commercial real estate and managed the association’s political action committee. He also led the association’s efforts regarding security and emergency preparedness, where he partnered with DHS, FEMA, and the Red Cross to help make communities more resilient to man-made and natural disasters. 

Prior to his work at BOMA International, Mr. Isenberg worked on Capitol Hill as Special Assistant to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and also managed a campaign for a State House candidate in Indiana. 

Mr. Isenberg graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government.

Dylan is NEII's Director of Government Affairs. He works closely with Amy Blankenbiller, and together they develop strategies to promote uniform model codes and standards across the country. Dylan's government experience makes him a key contributor to our Government Affairs Committee, where he collaborates with member leaders toward developing common interests. Dylan is a young professional with high energy and a passion for government affairs. His gift for public communication make him NEII's go-to spokesperson in legislative issues.
